Creature Kon grew out of a simple idea: Northern Ontario deserves a convention that takes genre films seriously and puts the fan experience first.

 

Our board is made up of filmmakers, actors, artists, and lifelong movie fans who connected through a shared respect for horror, sci-fi, and fantasy — not just as entertainment, but as art and craft. What started as conversations about movies turned into a commitment to build something local, affordable, and welcoming for fans.

Creature Kon is about community first. It’s a place for fans, creators, and industry guests to connect, support one another, and celebrate the films that shaped us — right here in Northern Ontario.
